Cory's Philosophy
Being the daughter of a nurse, Cory is a firm believer in a complementary approach to all medicine. She considers eastern and western medicine as wonderful partners and TCM fills the gaps of western medicine nicely. Cory thinks that the patient is best served when both medicines work together and recognizes the strengths of the other medicine.
Unfortunately, TCM is normally viewed as a mystical medicine that is poorly explained and not understood by the patient. One of Cory's main goals is to take that mysticism out of TCM and help people understand why it works. She tries to explain to all of her patients how TCM priniciples are applied to their condition and why she makes the treatment choices that she makes. Cory's hope is that each patient leaves the office more knowledgable about their health than before. |
